About Cristóbal Balenciaga : New Code

In partnership with Animal Concerts and Art Consulting, RLTY is moving the needle for digital fashion with its new wearables collection Cristóbal Balenciaga: New Code. Featuring 10 full-skin wearable NFTs inspired by previously unseen drawings and sketches by legendary fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga, the much anticipated collection will be unveiled during Metaverse Fashion Week in Decentraland on March 28th, 2023.

Each wearable in the collection is a virtual recreation of designs from The Balenciaga Collection, a collection of 9,000 recently discovered sketches from the Spanish designer, celebrated for his exquisite craftsmanship and revolutionary ideas . Known as the ‘King Of Fashion’ and widely regarded as a genius, his collection of drawings inspired the dresses worn by icons Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Ava Gardner, Marlene Dietrich and Jackie Kennedy. Coincedently, a curated selection of the sketches which will be on public exhibition at the Balenciaga Museum in Spain during Metaverse Fashion Week.

The Cristóbal Balenciaga: New Code collection will be available exclusively at the Cristóbal Balenciaga boutique in Decentraland, (located in the Neo Plaza — coordinates: 79 | -09 -78 | -09.) RLTY has created the boutique using its no-code metaverse events building suite of tools.

Customers, avatars and fashion fans will be able to explore the collection in ‘rotating 3D dispensers’, and purchase the limited edition wearables directly from the boutique.
